Foxconn says Linux killing BIOS is AMI’s doing

This is follow up to one of my previous posts on this topic.
It affects MSI and ASUS boards that have an American Megatrends (AMI) BIOS as well. The issues prevent Linux from functioning properly on these systems. Foxconn says they expect the update before the end of the week.
