If you are trying to track down why your computer is running so slooowwwly, try using this simple DOS command from Digital Inspiration to uncover a possible problem:
* Type cmd in your Windows Run box.
* Type “netstat -b 5 [...]
lsof is the Linux/Unix über-tool. I use it most for getting network connection related information from a system, but that’s just the beginning for this amazing and little-known application. The tool is aptly called lsof because it “lists open files”. And remember, in Unix just about everything (including a network socket) is a file.

I have spent probably over 40 hours actually surfing this site and saving wallpapers. There are some truly AMAZING photographs on here. An excellent source for free backgrounds, sorted by user rating. The images are available in all common resolutions, from 2560×1600 down to 1024×768, and are very diversely themed.
